Panduri Mango is a most significant variety of the all-mango varieties, every fruit density will be calculated in Bricks meter scale consists 30 units. The fruit density having more than 30 units, that’s why this variety became the KING of Indian Mangoes.
It is a seasonal fruit. It is very small in size but with a very sweet taste and round shaped, peel of this fruit will be always in green colour and flesh will be normal in colour sometimes it can be in white colour and when you lick the mango you will get a juice like consistency of the honey and a fully ripen Panduri Mango will leave you craving for more.

Facts about this Plant :-
There is a story behind plant origin, During the period of Srikrishna Krishnadevaraya, this plant was taken care of by Colonialists. There is no evidence of where this tree originated. In the later period this fruit has been stolen from the kingdom by somebody who has stolen the fruit from after eating, they threw it in the Velagadurru village near Tanuku. After many years Indian Government Forest department came to know the significant features of this fruit and they preserved it, later on Kadiyam nurseries developed these plants in a huge way, this how Panduri plant circulated towards the common man from the kings, still we have can see the oldest trees of Panduri mango in Velagadurru village near Tanuku. In the year of 2017, Eenadu Paper published an article on this Variety.
MAXIMUM HEIGHT – Upto 6 to 8 meter, sometimes more or less depending on pot size and place of its location.
BLOOMING YEAR – In South India starts from November and North India starts from February to March. It takes 100-150 days from flower to fruit development.
FRUITING TIME – Edible fruiting will start after 1.5-2 years after purchase. It starts in March and is available up to mid-August.

INITIAL CARE FOR 10-15 DAYS JUST AFTER RECEIVING YOUR PLANT
- Remove the Packaging Materials carefully.
- Press the soil in the pot & add additional soil (garden mix) if necessary.
- Maintain moisture in the pot, Do not overwater it may kill your plant, so make sure that the soil should be dry between watering.
- Provide support with stick/moss stick(vine plant) in order to make straight growth, for needed plant only.
- Make sure that plants get enough direct bright light for 10-15 days & do not go for immediate transplanting(minimum 1-2month)
- Just prune if any branch of the plant is get damaged in transit. It happens very rarely.
